Since 2012, he has founded and scaled multiple ventures, including Flexpedia, a leading Dutch payroll agency generating over €200M in revenue, and Paydia, an HR software platform serving 1,000+ users.

His real estate expertise spans from Spain, where he founded Withaven Inversiones in 2021, to Mexico, where he began investing in 2023. Drawn by the region's growth potential, Gert-Jan partnered with Kris Warnow to co-found Sunspot — bringing strategic vision and financial acumen to build the Riviera Maya's most comprehensive property marketplace.
